“Lezni Kuze – The skin of the forest”, Telc Firehouse Gallery, Tchéquie, Czech Republik, 2025.

WORKS

QUANTUM FAIRY

From Antiquity, through the first Solvay Conferences to recent advances in cold atoms and quantum computing, a mural retracing the major milestones of a discipline that has transformed our understanding of the world.

Creation: 2025

QUANTUM SENSATION

Highly mathematized, quantum physics describes particles whose behavior remains invisible to the senses. In explaining our world, it reveals its hidden side, tinged with mystery.

Creation: 2024-2025

LEZNÍ KŮŽE

The Skin of the Forest focuses on the forest of Telč, an ancient ecosystem now weakened by a bark beetle outbreak. A large number of trees have been destroyed, causing a profound transformation of the forest landscape.

Creation: 2025

SOUVENIR FROM THE WAR

Alsace, 1914. The village has gathered before leaving for the battle. Jean writes his daughter to give her some news. It is said the war will be short, and that it will not repeat itself.

Creation: 2023

REPOSERAIES

“Reposeraies” is a collection of stories, imagined or real, to which I combine portraits of anonymous people, drawn, printed, or painted, from cemetery medallions.

Creation: 2024

VEULETTES-SUR-MER

This series tells the story of the loss of a family home. And asks the question of what is left of it, when everything is gone.

Creation: 2023

THE ANDRE FAMILY

I found two boxes that were going to be thrown away, they contain the slide archives of an unknown family, ranging from 1960 to 1976. I do not know these people, I discover them.

Creation: 2022

SUMMERTIME

From 1929 to 1992, stories unfold again over the course of a summer day. A family archive photo discovered during a excavation session becomes the starting point for the investigation. I follow up the thread and investigate.

Creation: 2022-2023

GARDEN OF MINE

The gardens are my bubble. The space where I walk and experiment. I envision them as surfaces dedicated to the exploration of paint, pattern and color.

Creation: 2020-2022

CHILDHOOD

During 5 years, I have painted my nephews in play scenes. Time is experienced in the present, between imaginary and real. Tomorrow does not yet exist.

Creation: 2018-2022

CHROMA TO CHRONOS

Greek statues embody a common and protected memory of a distant past that we think we know. Totems of a story between truth-worthy and false-pretense
